Grubhub will test drone delivery of takeout orders for the first time, marking the latest effort from the company to experiment with automation technologies.

Grubhub and drone technology company Dexa announced a three-month pilot program on Wednesday to introduce aerial ​food delivery services to customers in Green Brook, ‌New Jersey.

Ahead of the launch, Grubhub and Dexa will host a community event on March 16 with drone demonstrations at 12 p.m. and 4 p.m.
