Packers playoff picture: Where Green Bay stands after Week 15
It was a cursed day for Green Bay Packers fans on Sunday. Their team lost and their star player tore his ACL, it would appear. Micah Parsons is done for the season and the team lost their spot atop the division. Green Bay is in the wild card race, sure, but their run to a home playoff game and a division title took a hit.
Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos won their 11th straight game with a 34-26 home win over the Green Bay Packers. Nix threw for 302 yards, a career-high four touchdowns and wasn’t intercepted or sacked a single time as Denver clinched a playoff berth for the second consecutive season.
The Green Bay Packers suffered a major loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday, losing by a final score of 34-26. The Packers, who entered the Broncos game in first place in the NFC North, dropped to second place after losing since the Chicago Bears beat the Cleveland Browns.
Green Bay Packers superstar pass rusher Micah Parsons exited the game against the Broncos with a gruesome-looking knee injury.
The Packers are evaluating Christian Watson’s injuries and it’s unclear if they have a timeline for his return.
During pregame, Broncos linebacker Dre Greenlaw got into a dust-up with Packers players near midfield. The inside linebacker was later joined by outside linebacker Nik Bonitto before quarterback Bo Nix pulled him back. Denver cornerback Ja'Quan McMillian also got in on the action.
The loss in the standings hurts a bit, but injuries to Parsons and Christian Watson will be far more impactful.
