Ceasefire in Gaza that was expected to begin today hit delays, possibly stalling the hostage release; the Israeli military continued attacks

Gaza’s Civil Defense said 19 people were killed in Israeli attacks during the nearly three-hour delay from when the ceasefire was set to be enforced.

The first phase of the agreement is supposed to last 42 days and see the release of more captives and prisoners.
