Ted Bundy's violent spree spanned at least four years, leaving dozens of victims, including at least 30 women and girls killed.

On Wednesday, the authorities said DNA evidence had linked Mr. Bundy, who was executed in 1989, to the murder of a 17-year-old Utah girl in 1974.

Bundy's full DNA profiled was entered into the FBI's national database, giving investigators a shot at solving potential cases linked to Bundy.
