CINCINNATI — Cincinnati got to 1-1 this preseason with a 31-17 win over the Washington Commanders on Monday Night Football. It prompted the first locker room celebration video for Zac Taylor and the 2025 Bengals.

Cincinnati had a huge need at guard in the draft this season, and selected Georgia’s Fairchild. Taylor indicated Fairchild was someone the team targeted very early in the process, and the Bengals took him in the third round with the No. 81 overall pick.
