John Cena's retirement tour officially came to an end on Saturday night as he competed against and lost to Gunther via submission in Washington D.C.
After sending John Cena to retirement with a submission loss at Saturday Night's Main Event, Gunther took to social media for a victory lap.
In their final parlay, Cena smiled and tapped out to Gunther, a dominant Austrian professional wrestler in WWE known as “The Ring General,” after being placed in an unsecured sleeper hold for approximately 10 seconds. Cena laid on the mat for over a minute as announcers declared Gunther the new standard for professional wrestling.
