The United States men's national team found its footing at Paypal Park in San Jose on Sunday, opening their 2025 Gold Cup with a 5-0 win over Trinidad and Tobago to snap a four-game losing streak.

The U.S. hopes a blowout win over the world's 100th-ranked team can start to lessen the pessimism created by the Americans' longest losing streak since 2007.
