New York Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart told reporters at his introductory press conference Friday that "it's surreal" he'll get the chance to play with nine-time Pro Bowler Russell Wilson.

The New York Giants say Russell Wilson will be their starting QB in 2025 ahead of Jameis Winston, while rookie Jaxson Dart will sit and learn.

None of this is to say Dart, at any point in 2025, will be an objectively better option than Wilson or Winston, who have 216 and 87 NFL starts, respectively. But if the Giants lose a bunch of early games again, they need to spend the later part of the season turning the page to Dart.
