Norris topped the timing sheets at the Hungaroring with a lap of 1:16.052, just 0.019 seconds ahead of his teammate Piastri. Most of the field focused on race pace in the early going, turning laps around the Hungaroring on the C4 medium tires.

Norris trails Piastri by 16 points heading into Sunday’s round at the Hungaroring – the final race before the summer break.
