India batter gets to the milestone in the Champions Trophy match against Pakistan in Dubai, breaking Sachin Tendulkar's record

Cricket great Virat Kohli became the fastest batter and third man to reach 14,000 runs in one-day international cricket before going on to hit a record-extending 51st century in the ODI format.

Virat Kohli has become the third batsman to reach the 14,000-run mark in ODI cricket, after Sachin Tendulkar (18,426) and Kumar Sangakkara (14,234). He also became the quickest to achieve the milestone as he reached the figure in 287 innings, which is 63 lesser than Sachin Tendulkar (350 innings) and 91 lesser than Kumar Sangakkara (378 innings).

Virat Kohli smashed a match-winning century against Pakistan on Sunday in the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy 2025. This was Kohli's first hundred in the Champions Trophy. However, it was his sixth century in the ICC ODI tournaments.

Virat Kohli wowed the Dubai crowd, slamming his 51st ODI Ton, as India outclassed Pakistan by six wickets. India chased down 242 with ease, doing it with 7.3 overs to spare, and have almost certainly sealed qualification to the Champions Trophy 2025 semi-finals.

With dominant wins over Bangladesh and Pakistan, India are all but through to the Champions Trophy semifinals.
