The collisions started when Mauricio Neyra Yuyes, 21, was driving a Mercedes sedan and changed lanes and struck a Volkswagen, which then hit a guardrail, police said.

Neyra Yuyes was allegedly driving a black 2019 Mercedes-Benz in the left lane around 1 a.m. when he tried to pass a white 2015 Volkswagen GTI in the middle lane, according to authorities.
