Stars of the show are reuniting on Broadway this fall for a “ Dawson’s Creek Class Reunion ” script reading in support of James Van Der Beek, who as Dawson led the series that launched their careers. In November, Van Der Beek announced that he had been diagnosed with colorectal cancer.
