The Philadelphia 76ers will reportedly promote Jameer Nelson to their assistant GM position after his time in the G League.

Former NBA star Jameer Nelson is reportedly rising up the ranks in the Philadelphia 76ers' front office. According to ESPN's Shams Charania, the Sixers promoted Nelson to assistant general manager under GM Elton Brand and team president Daryl Morey.

Jameer Nelson will be promoted to 76ers assistant general manager, according to ESPN. Nelson had been the general manager of the G League-affiliate Delaware Blue Coats since 2023, and also was regularly involved with the Sixers’ front office.
