Shortstop Trevor Story speaks on the Boston Red Sox's first base drama, shutting down any speculation that Story was asked to play first base.

With Triston Casas out of for the season, the Red Sox need a new first baseman and have many options available in-house, on the farm, and in free agency.

Justin Leger of NBC Sports Boston listed a few options from outside the organization. Among them was former Red Sox Dominic Smith. "Among the most sensible trade options are Dominic Smith (New York Yankees), Jon Singleton (New York Mets), and Justin Turner (Chicago Cubs)," Leger writes.
