A new SpaceX rocket launched a pristine batch of Starlink internet satellites into orbit late Wednesday (Feb. 26) in a dazzling nighttime liftoff.

SpaceX plans to launch 21 Starlink satellites, including 13 with direct-to-cell capabilities, from Cape Canaveral on Sunday night.

Sunday's launch will clock in as the 20th orbital rocket launch of 2025 from the Space Force installation and NASA's neighboring Kennedy Space Center.

SpaceX is targeting a late Wednesday night launch of a Falcon 9 rocket carrying Starlink internet satellites to low Earth orbit.

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket with 23 Starlink satellites on Friday morning from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. SpaceX's liftoff for the launch took place at 10:19 a.m. from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40).

SpaceX is now targeting 11:45 p.m. EST to launch the Falcon 9 rocket and 21 internet-beaming satellites from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Backup launch opportunities remain available until 2:47 a.
