After a quick visit back home, the Detroit Tigers head back on the road for seven games in seven days. The first part of the Tigers' road stretch takes place in Chicago, where Detroit will take on the Chicago White Sox for a three-game series from Monday,

The Tigers struck first in the fourth inning against their division rivals. However, the White Sox got to Jack Flaherty in the fifth inning, putting up a surprising five-spot in the frame. Chicago continued to pile on the runs as the game wore on, with a late Detroit rally falling short, with the home side coming away with a 9-6 win.

Rain delayed first pitch for the Detroit Tigers and Chicago White Sox in the second of three games in the series Tuesday, Aug. 12, at Rate Field.

Jack Flaherty opened with four scoreless innings before surrendering five runs on six hits in the 5th inning of a 9-6 loss.
