CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. - The Clayton County Police Department said an officer’s actions are under review after they shot and killed a dog Thursday evening.
CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Clayton County police say they are investigating an incident where an officer shot and killed his neighbor’s dog. The Senegals are heartbroken that their 2-year-old rottweiler Rocco is gone. That’s after a Clayton County officer shot their pet right along Millstone Drive in Jonesboro on Aug. 14.
According to Clayton Police Chief Mark Smith, officers pulled over a car on Clayton Road for erratic driving. When police spoke with the people inside the car, they told the officer that one of the passengers inside the vehicle was shot and they were rushing to the hospital.

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — A Clayton County salon owner, Khalilah Few, is suing the county after her permit to open Creative Crown Collective was denied due to “oversaturation” of salons in the area. “I really think that them not overturning it would change the trajectory of my life,” Few told Channel 2 investigative reporter Ashli Lincoln.
After previously wearing No. 1 at Florida, rookie Walter Clayton Jr. will return to an old jersey number to begin his career with the Jazz.
