MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexico President Claudia Sheinbaum denied her administration had an agreement with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration Tuesday, hours after the U.S. agency announced “a major new initiative” to collaborate in the fight against drug cartels.

Newsom has filed a Freedom of Information Act request after agents appeared outside a news conference he held in L.A. Critics say Trump uses federal law enforcement against his enemies.

The drugs were found when a canine unit indicated narcotics in a 2008 Ford Expedition with Mexico license plates.
