For the first time in Call of Duty's history, we're getting back-to-back Black Ops titles, and whereas last year's Black Ops 6 was grounded in the '90s, Black Ops 7 aims to propel Call of Duty back to the future.
The brand returned to the biggest consumer gaming event that takes place annually in Cologne, Germany, with a first look at Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, and new gameplay for The Outer Worlds 2, Ninja Gaiden 4, and a new DLC for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, called The Order of Giants.
Black Ops 6 Weapon Camos will not be transferable to Black Ops 7 weapons, but still usable on Black Ops 6 weapons.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 launches on November 14, bringing an all-new campaign set in 2035 with Milo Ventimiglia starring as David Mason. Treyarch has now confirmed that Black Ops 7 will feature progression across all modes. This means players can finally rank up and earn more meaningful rewards simply by playing through the game's story.
