When the Los Angeles Dodgers host the Miami Marlins on Monday, it will mark the largest discrepancy in payrolls in a showdown between two MLB teams.

To put things into perspective, the three players that are on the largest contracts on the Dodgers are starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow, designated hitter Shohei Ohtani and multi-tool star Mookie Betts – the three of them are combined to be getting paid more than the entire Marlins' roster combined.

Two teams on opposite ends of the payroll spectrum meet this week, for a series that sets records and focuses eyes on MLB's payroll issue.
