The WNBA has seen a dramatic ratings decline since Caitlin Clark was sidelined with a left quad strain on May 24. According to Nielsen data, national TV viewership has dropped 55%, with Indiana Fever games averaging 1.

Clark, who has missed the past five games with a quad injury, has been cleared for a return to basketball.

On national television, the Fever averaged 1,810,000 viewers prior to her injury and 847,000 viewers in Clark’s absence.
